Terms & Conditions
Draft — pending legal review
Draft — not yet reviewed by counsel
This page sets out the terms as designed, so they can be reviewed. It has not been checked by a US attorney and must not be relied on or published as final.
1. Who we are
L'vaé is a trading name of Praventis Group Ltd, company number 16621668. We provide access to digital healthcare services in the United States.
We are not a medical practice or a pharmacy. Clinical decisions are made by licensed US clinicians through our clinical partner, and medicines are dispensed by a licensed US pharmacy.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and physically located in a US state where our clinical partner is licensed to provide care.
Treatment is never guaranteed. A clinician may decline to prescribe, may prescribe something different from what you selected, or may ask for more information before deciding.
3. How payment works
When you complete your questionnaire we place an authorization hold on your card. A hold is not a charge: it reserves funds but takes no money.
The hold covers the consultation fee plus the highest-priced treatment a clinician could prescribe for you. This is usually more than you will pay. We hold the higher amount because a clinician may prescribe a different treatment from the one you selected, and we cannot collect more after they have decided.
You are charged only if a clinician approves treatment, and only for what they actually approve. Where the approved treatment costs less than the amount held, we take only that lower amount and the rest is released back to your card. Release timing is set by your bank, typically a few business days.
If no treatment is approved, the hold is released in full and you are charged nothing.
4. Cancellation and refunds
What you receive back depends on how far your consultation has progressed.
- Before a clinician reviews your case: you are not charged. The hold is released in full.
- Once a clinician has reviewed your case: the consultation fee is retained, whether or not treatment was approved. The clinical work has been done. Any amount held for medication is released.
- Once your medication has been dispensed: it cannot be returned or refunded, for safety reasons. Contact us and we will help where we can.
The consultation fee is charged as a separate line so you can always see what was retained and why.
5. Subscriptions and refills
Where treatment is supplied on a recurring basis, each refill requires a new clinical questionnaire and a new review. We do not reorder medication on your behalf without a clinician reviewing it.
You can cancel a subscription at any time before its next review.
6. Medical disclaimer
This service does not provide urgent or emergency care. If you need urgent medical advice, contact your physician. In an emergency, dial 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
